Which InPost markets does Shipdock support?

Only InPost Poland is available in Shipdock for now, in beta. Merchants ship from Poland: to Paczkomat lockers and PUDO points in Poland, and with InPost Courier to addresses in Poland and 15 other European countries. InPost Italy, France and Spain are in preparation and cannot be connected yet.

How long are parcels stored in Paczkomat?

Parcels are stored in Paczkomat for 48-72 hours depending on the country. After this period, they are returned to the sender.

When does the InPost tracking number appear in Shopify?

For domestic InPost shipments, InPost assigns the tracking number with a delay. Shipdock fetches it in the background and writes it to the Shopify fulfillment together with the tracking link, and Shopify sends the shipping email to the customer. Shipdock itself does not display parcel statuses.

InPost Label Printing

Create InPost shipments for up to 50 Shopify orders at once and print the labels as PDF, in A6 format or as four A6 labels on one A4 sheet. Labels can also be created automatically when an order is created or fulfilled. The integration is in beta, so double-check the labels and shipping details of your first shipments.

InPost Pickup Widget

Paczkomat lockers and PUDO points in Poland. Customers choose a InPost pickup point from a list with search by address, city or postcode, and the selected point is saved to the Shopify order. Selection directly in checkout requires Shopify Plus; on other Shopify plans customers choose on the Thank-you and Order-status page. The map runs on Google Maps and needs your own Google Maps key; the list and search work without it.

InPost API Connection

Shipdock connects to InPost through the API with your own account credentials, so you ship on your own contract and rates. Tracking numbers of domestic InPost shipments arrive with a delay, and Shipdock fetches them in the background. Once the order is fulfilled, the tracking number, carrier name and tracking link are written to the Shopify fulfillment and Shopify sends the shipping email to the customer. Shipdock does not display parcel statuses and sends no tracking notifications of its own. Shipments cannot be cancelled from the app; cancel them in the carrier's portal.
