Can I use Packeta for international shipments?

Yes. Through Shipdock you can send Packeta parcels to 32 countries: 25 EU countries plus Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Israel, Ukraine, the USA, the United Arab Emirates and Turkey. Home delivery is handled by 78 carriers, and pickup points include 50 partner networks in 22 countries. Parcels going outside the EU need a customs declaration.

Can I combine Z-Box and home delivery?

Yes. In Shopify you set up two shipping rates, one for Z-Box/Z-Point, one for Packeta Home.

What is the maximum weight for Z-Box?

Z-Boxes have a 15 kg limit and max dimensions 41×38×64 cm. For heavier packages use Z-Point (up to 20 kg) or Packeta Home (up to 30 kg).

How do customs declarations for Packeta parcels outside the EU work?

Packeta delivers outside the EU through partner carriers to Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Israel, Ukraine, the USA, the United Arab Emirates and Turkey. You fill in the declaration on the order in Shipdock: the items are loaded from the order, you look up the HS code (Packeta requires exactly 8 digits) and add the invoice number, invoice date and shipping cost. Uploading your own commercial invoice as a PDF is mandatory; neither Shipdock nor Packeta generates it. There are no EORI or VAT number fields. The export document (EAD) is issued by the carrier for the United Kingdom, Israel, Ukraine, the USA and Turkey; for Switzerland you attach your own EAD or let Packeta create it, and for the UAE all three options are available. Cash on delivery is not available on these destinations.

How does tracking of Packeta parcels work in Shipdock?

Once the order is fulfilled, the tracking number, carrier name and tracking link are written to the Shopify fulfillment and Shopify emails them to the customer. Shipdock does not display parcel status and sends no notifications of its own; the customer follows the parcel through the carrier's tracking link.

Create and print Packeta labels straight from Shopify, one at a time or for up to 50 orders in a batch. Labels are PDF files in A6, A7 or A8 format, or A6, A7 and 105×35 mm labels laid out on A4 sheets. Labels can also be created automatically when an order is created or fulfilled.

Packeta Pickup Widget

Customers choose a Packeta pickup point in checkout on Shopify Plus, and on the Thank-you and Order-status page on other Shopify plans. They search by address, city or postcode. The list works on its own; the map runs on Google Maps and needs your own Google Maps API key. The selected point is saved to the Shopify order.

Packeta API Connection

Shipdock connects to your own Packeta account through the carrier's API. Once the order is fulfilled, the tracking number, carrier name and tracking link are written to the Shopify fulfillment and Shopify emails them to the customer. The cash on delivery amount is taken from the Shopify order and passed to the carrier. With automatic mark-as-paid switched on, the Shopify order is marked as paid once the parcel is delivered.
